Catarina is a wonderful town overlooking the Laguna de Apoyo. Its main attraction is the breathtaking viewpoint over the whole lake, with the city of Granada and the lake Nicaragua in the background.
Close by are the Pueblos Blancos, center of the local artisans. Watch locals create handcrafted pottery and buy your souvenirs directly from the artists.
